Tips from Latest TBI Guidelines


David Tse Pui Lam, RN

David is a registered nurse who specializes in critical care nursing. He is experienced in taking care of patients with neurosurgical problems such as brain injuries and intracranial hemorrhages. David completed his bachelor’s degree in nursing in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also holds a post-graduation in Intensive Care Nursing from the Institute of Advanced Nursing Studies in Hong Kong. With his solid clinical background, David has a passion for education. Previously, he provided training to nurse trainees at the hospital setting. Now, as a Clinical Application Specialist in Camino ICP, David provides clinical support in the Neurocritical Care at Natus in Asia Pacific.

During the last 20 years, the communities of neurosurgery and neuro-intensive care had been early pioneers and supporters of strike developing evidence-based guideline in traumatic brain injury. In the latest guideline published in 2016, i.e. the 4th edition, writers include the most current methodologic standards and make essential improvements for previous recommendations. In this webinar, we will highlight the updated standards and recommendations in traumatic brain injury.
